Gijon, Spain

This port city with a population of about 275 thousand inhabitants on the northern coast of Spain 3000 years ago was a fishing village. In our days here start many local cruises, which makes it particularly fussy in the summer months (think that would feel all the old fishermen in the form of a modern cruise ships). Simadevilya Historical Village, with its narrow cobbled streets, attracts many tourists. The park is the Cerro de Santa Catalina, located on the edge of the peninsula Simadevilya, offering breathtaking coastal views.
