Kanchanaburi, Thailand

In Kanchanaburi, the capital of the eponymous province, passes Burma Railway (Death Road), built by prisoners of war, the allied forces during the Second World War and perpetuated through the bridge over the River Kwai. In memory of those who died while working in the toughest conditions, erected a memorial and two museums, and the bombing of the bridge symbolically reproduced on the fireworks show, which hosts the annual carnival. Its extensive grounds are situated around the forest, there is also a cave, and beautiful waterfalls.
