Ollantaytambo, Peru

In Ollantaytambo are one of the oldest residential buildings in South America. This place was a center of resistance to the Spanish colonization of the Incas, and it is remarkably well preserved. Ollantaytambo is visited by many tourists, because this place is at the beginning of the Inca trail leading to Machu Picchu. Hold here: these ruins really majestic.
