Regensburg, Germany

Founded by the Romans in 179 AD. e. on the site of a military camp Casta Regina (fortress on the River Regen), Regensburg is one of the oldest cities in Germany. He miraculously survived the Allied bombing during World War II. Today, crowds tend to to see the magnificent old town and its medieval buildings, preserved in its original form.
