Verona, Italy
Medieval Verona was so beautiful and inspiring that William Shakespeare made it the scene of his plays ("Romeo and Juliet" and "Two Gentlemen of Verona"). While the relationship of the city with the historical native Capulet, at best, very small, so-called "Juliet's House" attracts more than half a million tourists, most of whom are willing to put in their own balcony scene. Do not miss the Roman amphitheater and the Palazzo Barberi.
